Salman Makes Boney Pay For Arjun's Mistake
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The Kick star has left the producer high and dry
A few hours ago, we told you of Salman Khan's animosity towards Arjun Kapoor (Arjun rushes into Alia's arms to avoid Salman, October 14). Unfortunately, the friction seems to extend to the 2 States actor's father Boney Kapoor too.
Boney has not had a good run at the box-office with his last three productions - Tevar, It's My Life and Milenge Milenge - sinking without a trace. Needless to say, the producer is hoping that things will change with No Entry Mein Entry - the sequel to the 2005 hit No Entry, which he has been intending to make for the last 5 years.
But how can he make the second instalment without Salman?
Boney, we hear, has been trying to touch base with the actor and convince him to come on board. However, his numerous calls and texts have gone unanswered. We get that Salman is a busy man, but how long does it really take to answer a call? The superstar is clearly in no mood to help Boney out with the film.
While Salman's dislike for Arjun is one of the reasons why he is avoiding Boney, we guess his aversion to the sequel also has something to do with Anees Bazmee. The director has been tom-tomming about Salman's inclusion in No Entry Mein Entry (Is Welcome Back director piggybacking on Salman?, August 7), when the actor himself has kept mum about it.
Poor Boney has simply become the scapegoat in this situation. Tsk, tsk.
